Candy Corn Cupcakes!
If you haven't tried out the candy corn cupcake-you should! It's so much fun! To do this, just mix up any kind of white cake you want and then put the cake batter into 2 different bowls. Then take your yellow and orange food coloring (I suggest Wilton gel colors) and color one bowl of batter yellow and the other bowl of batter orange. Then put one scoop of yellow into the bottom of the cupcake liner (I use the pampered chef medium sized cookie scoop for cupcakes and use 2 scoops for cupcakes-works great) and one more scoop of orange on top. Then, bake as you normally would. I like to use fair amount of food coloring so you can see the colors, but you can experiment to your liking. Of course you would swirl the top of the cupcake with white buttercream and add a candy corn on top! Such a fun thing to do with the kids around Halloween! Happy Baking everyone! :)
