Lace, Twine, and Wild Flowers Wedding Cake





This cake is white cake with whipped vanilla buttercream. I added a texture to the buttercream for more of a rustic look. I also added teal ribbon, cream lace, and twine on the bottom of both tiers. I hand made purple lisainthus, viking poms, and fever few for the top and sides of the cake (gumpaste flowers). Both the cake toppers were supplied by the bride and groom. This is the first wedding cake I have made where I got to attend the wedding, too! Congratulations Melissa and Mike!
