This cake is yellow cake with whipped chocolate buttercream and covered in homemade fondant. I wanted to try hand painting (with edible gel of course) on a cake. This is my first time painting on a cake, so it's not perfect. But, I am happy how it turned out! I have always wanted to do this (new fad in cakes right now). It wasn't as hard as I thought, BUT it did take forever to paint it all. There is another owl on the back (no pictures of him), too. Maybe next time I will do something more simple! So much fun, though! :)
