Shamrock Milkshake Cupcakes

I decided to try out McDonalds Shamrock Milkshake Cupcakes. I tried a recipe I found online, but hated it. So, I came up with my own recipe. And they turned out really good!
Try these cupcakes out for St. Patrick's Day!

Shamrock Milkshake Cupcakes
1 french vanilla cake mix
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup creme de menthe (I used the green colored one-not clear)
1/3 cup canola oil

Mix all ingredients and put in cupcake liners at 350 degrees. Bake for 20-22 minutes. This recipe makes 24 cupcakes.

I frosted these cupcakes with whipped buttercream. I tinted half the recipe green and half the recipe I left white. I swirled the cupcakes and made round circles and shamrocks for the cupcake toppers. YUM!
